Last November Steve and I attended the International Dairy Symposium in Yokohama , Japan. Semex kindly arranged a dairy tour for us by Nosawa & Co Ltd, Toyoko. Ippei Tanaka picked us up at our hotel and toured us to Chiba area with Satoshi Kanasugi. Beautiful scenic coastal area with lots of sushi.  Steve tried eel and octopus, while I kept to white fish, tuna and salmon. Saw some beautiful cows as well. The conference yielded many interesting and inspiring workshops. Love this learning experience. Next year it is in Israel….dreaming……. Japan has the most amazing toilets. Heated seats, music, bidets….

Even though 2013 dwindles in our eyes, there is lots of activity at the Legacy farm. We just purchased a new Juno to push up feed for the Legacy Girls. Christmas preparations are in full swing. We are very thankful to have all our family back in Ontario to attend all the family gatherings for the first time in many years.

From Steve and Karen, Janet and Shane we hope you have a blessed Merry Christmas and wishing you a wonderful 2014.
